Executive Team Bios

Alison has been in the Accounting and Financial field for over 30 years. She has worked for many highly successful individuals and companies during that time. Her accounting career began in 1980 when she went to work for Bill Goodwin of CCA Industries. In 1982 she was promoted and given the opportunity to act as the Director of Accounting for one of its affiliate companies, North American Marketing, and in 1984 was promoted to the position of Controller. It was during her time at North American Marketing that she met Bill Royall. In 1985 when he decided to start his own direct mail consulting firm, Royall & Company, she joined his winning team as Controller and worked her way up to the position of Chief Operating Officer and Director of Production Services in 1996.

In 1997 she was introduced to Karen Adams and Mary Fowlkes who had just acquired a young internet development company called Tekna. They asked her to join their team as Chief Financial Officer. In one year the firm was acquired and subsequently went public. Alison has spent the past 11 years working with Karen Adams and her partners, managing the financial and accounting functions during the start-up years of Vista Technical Services, Fahrenheit Technology, Ironworks Consulting, PoshTots, Peter Blair, Inc., Peter Blair Accessories, US Raceworks, and Genesis Consulting Partners, LLC.

Alison is excited to be a part of the PartnerJD team. She lives in Midlothian, Virginia with her husband Nelson and their three sons who are all in college. Cameron is a Senior at Christopher Newport University, Jarrod is a Sophomore at James Madison University and Michael is a Sophomore at Virginia Commonwealth University.
